Project Description

Villa Ippedico is localized in an already urbanized area in Ruvo, Puglia. It is a contemporary style project designed to accommodate a young family. The structure is on a single level and is distinguished by a furnished garden and a splendid swimming pool. The architecture of Villa Ippedico is characterized by pure and clean forms and volumes. The large windows create visual continuity between the interior of the house and the garden, so the spaces are very bright, as well as large and fluid, especially in the hallway areas. Moreover, the spaces created are perfectly matched to the wood of the parquet flooring, the furnishing accessories and the clear surfaces of the compartments and doors with a balanced and harmonious result. Among the doors, you can recognize the full height versions of Ermetika's Absolute Swing and Absolute Evo, which make their contribution by making the rooms unique and inimitable. The project is completed by a pure and contemporary style, alternating between wood-panelled surfaces and others that are plastered or fitted with lacquered panelling.

Who is the designer?
Villa Ippedico was realized thanks to the professional assistance of the architect Roberto Ruta. His work is characterized by the design and supervision of works for houses, villas, multi-family buildings, shops, showrooms and industrial plants. He also deals with interior design, taking care of projects and the insertion of furnishing elements down to the last detail in both residential and commercial environments.

What is the most important focus when you start a new project?
Every client has its own story and every story is different. The project approach coincides with the knowledge of this story. From this, the end result will be a unique project that tells a special story, never the same as another.

In your opinion, which role can the door play within a project?
The door is not an object that separates and divides. The door is an element that foretells and prepares for an emotion that manifests itself every time you open it.
