New BinAir: wall mounted sliding door

New BinAir: wall mounted sliding door

Sliding door with visible track

When there are structural limitations that do not allow direct operation on the wall, the pocket door, which slides and camouflages itself inside the wall, will be replaced by the external wall door, which slides outside the wall. The difference, therefore, between the two models is the absence of the cavity: it is in fact possible to insert the door panel inside a track that will make it visibly slide outside the wall. Thus, the external sliding door replaces the wall itself as a highly decorative design system.

How to install a sliding door with BinAir

Installing a sliding door with an exposed track is very quick and easy, and does not require the intervention of a professional. Just follow a few simple steps for correct assembly. Let's see together how to proceed:

  1. Mount the track rollers in the spaces provided;
  2. Move the door closer to the tracks, securing it with the hooks supplied in the kit;
  3. Once the door is secured, apply the end stops to prevent the door from falling off the track;
  4. Place the door frame on the wall and check that it slides correctly. If not, the frame may be screwed in too tightly, creating friction, so loosen it slightly.

In addition to the sliding system, Ermetika also offers doors to match, such as the Echo Door, available in different finishes for both the door panel and its perimeter profiles.
